Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the SeshMap mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years of age to use SeshMap. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 21 years old and that cannabis use is legal in your jurisdiction.

If you are a medical cannabis patient in a jurisdiction where the legal age is 18 with a valid medical card, you represent that you meet those requirements.

We reserve the right to terminate your account if we reasonably believe you do not meet these age requirements.

3. Description of Service

SeshMap is a personal cannabis session tracking and strain reference application. The App allows you to:

• Log cannabis sessions (strains, methods, effects, ratings)
• Maintain a personal stash inventory
• Explore a database of cannabis strains and terpene profiles
• View personalized terpene insights based on your logged sessions
• Optionally sync your data across devices via cloud backup

SeshMap is a personal journal and informational tool. It does not sell, distribute, or facilitate the acquisition of cannabis or cannabis products.

4. User Accounts

Account creation is optional. You can use SeshMap without creating an account (data is stored locally on your device).

If you create an account:

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• You agree to provide accurate registration information
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Permitted Use

You may use SeshMap for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Use the App to facilitate the sale, distribution, or trafficking of cannabis
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the App
• Redistribute, license, or sell the App or its content
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or marks

The strain database, terpene reference data, and App interface are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

6. User-Generated Content

When you log sessions, write reviews, or create other content in the App, you retain ownership of that content. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it to you as part of the App's functionality.

We do not publicly display or share your personal content with other users unless future social features are explicitly enabled by you.

You agree not to submit content that is illegal, threatening, defamatory, or infringes on the rights of others.

7. Medical Disclaimer

SESHMAP IS NOT A MEDICAL APPLICATION AND DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE.

Information in the App, including strain data, terpene profiles, reported effects, and personalized insights, is for informational and personal reference purposes only. This information is NOT intended to:

• Diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition
• Replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Serve as a recommendation for any specific cannabis product or regimen

Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions regarding a medical condition or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in SeshMap.

Cannabis affects individuals differently. The effects and experiences reported in the App are user-submitted and may not reflect your personal experience.

8. Legal Compliance

Cannabis legality varies by jurisdiction. SeshMap is intended for use only in jurisdictions where cannabis is legal for recreational or medical use.

YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for determining whether cannabis use is legal in your jurisdiction and for complying with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws.

SeshMap, Saltscribe, and its operators are not responsible for any legal consequences arising from your use of cannabis, regardless of what information is provided in the App.

Cannabis remains a controlled substance under federal law in the United States. Use of this App does not constitute legal advice.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, interface, code, strain database, terpene data, and all related content, is the property of Saltscribe or its licensors.

Strain data is sourced from:

• Kushy Cannabis Dataset (MIT License) — strain names, types, cannabinoid profiles, terpene associations
• Scientific literature — terpene reference data (scientific facts are not copyrightable)
• User submissions — reviews and ratings

Third-party data attributions are detailed in the THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES file included with the App.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SESHMAP AND SALTSCRIBE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We are not liable for:

• Any adverse effects from cannabis use, regardless of information provided in the App
• Data loss due to device failure, cloud service interruption, or other causes
• Inaccuracies in strain data, terpene profiles, or reported effects
• Legal consequences arising from your cannabis use
• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the App (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Saltscribe and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law
• Any content you submit through the App

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. If you have an account, you may delete it through the App or by contacting us.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ohio.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via an in-app notification or email.

Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the App.
